Let’s Eat!

Tapas

Tako Carpaccio, $12

We began our meal with some tako capaccio, the sliced octopus nicely laid out and topped with salmon roe with a drizzle of zest from yuzu and truffle oil. It was a light beginning for it and whetted my appetite.

Wagyu Mini Burger, $16

Enjoyed the handground motobu wagyu beef patty, which was completed with red wine sauce. This was a mouthful for me, literally.

Garlic Gambas, $16

I enjoyed this simple shrimp dish, I liked the garlicky taste, abeit the size was quite small for the pricing. Tossed in butter sauce.

Charcoal Grilled

Those going for items under Charcoal grilled dishes can try the Sumiyaki Moriawase ($25) and the Wagyu Yasai Stick (with assorted vegetables, $24). Both meat dishes were tasty and well-done.

Main Dish

Those who wants to dive straight into the mains can try the Sunny Side-Up Hamburg ($18), which features a handground wagyu beef patty topped with sunny side-up egg and red wine sauce. It was tasty, though the dish proved to be a little too oily for me.

Wagyu Houba Misayaki, $28

Another interesting choice to go for would be this dish: which is a motobu wagyu steak with miso on houba leaf, which gives out a nice, smoky aromatic taste as you chew into it.

Surprisingly, the Wagyu Suji and Foie Gras ($14.80) turned out to be quite a table favourite. The Wagyu beef tendon was braised well, resulting in a lovely texture and you will find bits of foie gras in miso. My only gripe is that if the texture of the foie gras were made better, it would have been perfect.

We also had the Angel Hair Pasta ($18.80), which was cold angel hair pasta topped with sea urchin and salmon roe. I liked it overall, but thought it was too oily for me.

Dessert

Yuzu Cheesecake, $7.80

We were quite hooked on the light texture of the cheesecake, which was infused with Japanese yuzu. Unfortunately, I thought the plating could have been better presented.

Matcha Tiramisu, $7.80

The texture of the matcha tiramisu was good, and it was deeply matcha-infused. Topped with sweet red beans, which makes the cherry on the cake.
