Pura Brasa Singapore: Spanish flavors done right in the CBD

If you’re craving Spanish flavors in a super accessible spot, Pura Brasa Singapore at Guoco Tower might just hit the mark. From the quick and friendly service to the warm atmosphere, it’s an easy choice for a satisfying meal.
My dining partner and I came here for our Christmas Eve lunch, and the space filled up pretty well once it hit noon. Before our mains arrived, we were treated to a plate of complimentary olives. Palatable and full of flavor, they made for an excellent start to the meal.
We couldn’t skip the Spanish classic, Patatas. These potatoes were roasted to crispy perfection on the outside and stayed creamy and fluffy inside. Topped with an addictive allioli sauce, this dish was addictive and I could not stop munching on it even after I filled up on the Paella.

Grilled octopus leg served laid on a bed of potato truffle puree was hands down, the highlight of the meal. The octopus leg was grilled beautifully - juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. A must-order if you’re here.

Seafood Paella was packed with flavor and plenty of fresh seafood, but I found it slightly on the wetter side. Don’t get me wrong, it was still delicious and flavorful, but I do prefer the less wetter version of a paella at Next Door Spanish Café
We rounded off the meal with their degustation-style lemon pie. It was a decent dessert, though I felt it kinda lacked that punchy tangy zing I usually look for in lemon-based treats. Still, a pleasant end to our lunch.
It's definitely worth a mention that Pura Brasa also features everything from in-house aged meats to an extensive wine list. While I’m steering clear of alcohol these days, I’ve heard great things about their drinks. If I were drinking, I’d definitely give them a go!

Another item on the menu I had my eye on was the fried aubergine with honey. Sadly, we had to skip it because the meal was already leaning a little too carb-heavy. Next time, perhaps!

The portion sizes here are pretty filling. Two mains, one tapas, and one dessert were perfect for the two of us - our wallets tanked around a total of SGD$123 for this meal.

And the service was wonderful! The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. A big thumbs up for their hospitality! If you’re looking for a central spot to indulge in some Spanish classics, this place is definitely worth checking out. I will absolutely be back to try the other dishes for sure.

Here's wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas celebration!
