Old Chang Kee is spicing up this year’s National Day with a Uniquely Singapore Special Snack item inspired by the iconic Singapore Chilli crab dish. Singaporeans who truly love chilli crab will enjoy the limited Old Chang Kee Chilli Crab sauce with Fried mantou, available for sale at islandwide Old Chang Kee outlets from 15 July to 31 August 2022.
This new National Day Snack Item will be served in a Grab-and-Go cup with 4 pieces of Fried Mantou, dripped with Old Chang Kee’s in-house special Chilli Crab Sauce that is sweet, savoury and with a hint of spiciness. Mantou (which are basically chinese steamed buns) are fried – features a crispy exterior with a fluffy, soft texture on the inside.
Price:
- S$4 per cup (4 pcs of Fried Mantou per cup dripped with Chilli Crab Sauce)
- Add-on S$1 for extra sauce
- Add-on S$0.50 to separate sauce in a container
Enjoy the freshly baked flower bread and dip it with Old Chang Kee’s special in-house Chilli Crab Sauce too, which also comes with one fried soft-shell crab to further enhance the flavour of the chilli crab sauce.
This dish is serves 2 and will be available at all 3 Coffee House outlets at SGD$15.50 per set. For those who would like to be served at the comforts of their home, it’ll also be made available from Old Chang Kee delivery partners’ platforms.
