This is my very first experience with Harritts Donuts ハリッツ Singapore, despite it already having much hype since the shop was established in 2004, in Tokyo.
They specialise in serving up quality handmade donuts and specialty coffee, but boost humble beginnings by starting out selling their donuts and coffee in a mobile van.
Their transition to having physical stores in Tokyo, Taiwan, Taichung and now Singapore, this is truly a testimony that their donuts and coffee are indeed the real, awesome deal. Their donuts are soft, with a slight chew (but not too much dough!) and unlike other donuts, they are not overly sweet! Despite their slightly pricier cost per donut, compared to mainstream ones out there, you're paying for quality here.
They also have innovative flavours, and boost good customer service. Because they are handmade donuts, you can be sure you're getting fresh donuts.
When I visited the Haritts Donuts & Coffee ハリッツ at Tampines One (level 2), I got an iced long black and 3 donuts: Limone (a lemon custard filling), Nutty Nutella and the Original version (aka, plain version). If there's something you know about me when I taste food, I always get an original flavour to not distract me from tasting if it's the real deal.
Highly recommended, and I will be back!
