This is what magic sounds like: The JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG Sound Experience

Some of us were invited to a product demo event, featuring 3 well known audio brands: Harman Kardon, JBL and AKG, where they showcased their products and showed us why their brand is big in the audio world.
That pretty much sums up what they're about. Passion.
Passionate about music, about quality.

In a world now where music is the universal language, we have become a society demanding towards the standards of our tunes, and that's where these brands come into play, offering one of the best sounds in the market.

Here are some of their products on display, which would be used to show off their sound quality later during the presentation.

Me and the Clip Plus ($99). It's super portable size and comes in various colours! Lovely for music lovers on the go, and easily able to clip it on any bag!

"Can we throw this on the floor?", some bloggers asked as Andy Tsui, the Director of Product Planning & Strategy Home & Multimedia for Harman Kardon, shared its toughness on their shock absorbent products. But seriously, you can. And he did.

This lovely, colourful one which Andy is holding, is the JBL Pulse (SGD$329).

Till here, I have to apologise because my camera ran out of battery the other day. And my phone was an old, crappy one. So here's the best of shots that I actually have. And it's obviously not doing this candy speaker justice.

Amanda and I with the JBL Charge2+ ($279).

Andy showed us the water resistance of his speaker as well - he poured water over the speaker and we were super impressed as the water bounced up and down according to the music! And still sounded soooo good!

This was one product which Andy poured water over. If you see closely enough, you'll notice the side of the speaker still wet from all that water. I love the way they designed their speakers, it was so portable, and so detailed in design aspects.

We also got to try out the amazing N90Q, which is slated to be retailing at $2199 (incl. 7% GST).
It was pretty much what magic sounded like. Cast in sleek black, a kiss of gold and made in leather, this limited edition auto-calibrating noise canceling earphones were inpired by the Grammy award winning producer Quincy Jones. It is truly a symbol of status and class, and only for a true music lover.

And with every event... comes a gift bag! And I got this amazing portable speaker and sport earphones, just in time to replace my faulty in-ear phones!

The Synchros Reflect in-ear sport headphones featured a highly reflective cable and a magnetic cable management, so that your cables will not tangle easily!

The ear-tips were also well angled and ergonomically designed for better hearing comfort while doing your sports. Of course... sweat proof! Woohoo!
 Control your music volume here.
Let me also share that it won the reddot award for 2014, another reason to get this! This is well suited for those using ipod, iPhone and iPads.
I also loved that they gave us the lovely Flip 2 portable speaker! The sound was amazing! This speaker is wireless enabled so just connect to the speaker to blast your tunes. No transferring, no cables.
It also features a noise and echo free speakerphone system! Very impressive, stylish and lovely.
Play your music on this for 5 hours non-stop, then simply recharge the battery when it's out of juice.
