Another tried and tested Korean restaurant! I visited Supulae 숯불애 Korean Restaurant along Tanjong Pagar road, and here's a review on their food!
Beef Bulgogi 불고기 ($20)
The parts were mostly served with tendons and the sauce was not enough. What more, for a portion of $20, less meat was served than those in food courts. And I already thought food court ones were expensive! Disappointing portion, disappointing pricing.
Steamed Egg 계란찜 ($5)
So-so. Wasn't that satisfying from its price. From the image on the menu, it certainly looks more appetizing. I've definitely had better ones.
Budae Chiggae 부대찌개 (Army Stew, $35)
Service was good, but busy. I was placed at a location where the servers kept bumping into my chair. It was at an uncomfortable location and they should really think about being a little more careful when they cross!
The worst bit: The portion of meat.

What could go wrong. Army stews don't disappoint. This one didn't.
While I did feel that ingredients served were pretty small as compared to the carbs, I felt there could be more meat inside. I'm a meat lover and not having a reasonable portion of meat somewhat makes me mad! >.<
