Shopping around Changi City Point over the weekend, it also led me to a decision to get these pair of sneaker shoes from Skechers, which I found are very comfortable to wear. These shoes cost slightly over SGD$100.
They are named the Skechers GoWalk 2, part of the GoWalk series which are designed with Skechers Performance technologies and materials. I don't know the terms, but it is practically built from entirely to cater to those who needs to walk around comfortably for long periods of time!
Skechers GoWalk 3 (the latest version) is the newest version they carry. It has more cushioning, but I find GoWalk 2 most suitable for my feet. Hence, I got them instead!
This is what the website says - Details:
Mind...blown.

Mind...blown.
Anyway, to summarise, this series of shoes, and by series, I mean the "GoWalk" series, are flexible-type shoes which uses performance integrated yarns as its main material, giving the shoe a good breathability and it is extremely lightweight. Importantly, with its good cushioning, it also helps to relieve impact when you're walking, which might help put lesser pressure on the knee joints, for older people.
It also has integrated anti-microbial sockliner that helps to prevent odor, but having said that, you still have to remember to air the shoe no matter what. This was the advice from the salesperson. Especially for those who sweats through their feet.
And, the only drawback I found was that it being yarn, it was not waterproof hence you might want to reconsider having these shoes for wet areas or wet weathers as well!
On the other note, my mum, also found it very lightweight and nicely cushioned, hence we bought mother-daughter pairs!
I was lovely and I feel that I'm going to have a great time walking in these shoes. :)
Hope this helps you guys out there who are looking for a pair of comfortable shoes and don't know where to start from! Happy walking!
